started drawing way back at a time when I could poop in my pants and not get in trouble. I continued off and on over the years just for the hell of it
until '97. I was writing for a 'zine in los Angeles called Bite Me! (and still write for) when they asked if I knew anyone that did comics. I had a few ideas floating around for awhile but never put
them on paper. I offered to send some in to see what they thought and figured we'd go from there. Well since then I have been drawing for Bite Me! actually until just recently due to some
misunderstandings. During the time I was drawing for them, there were certain things they wouldn't use because they thought people might be offended. That just pissed me off so i set out to start my own
'zine for the Underground metal scene (for which I used to be a part of) and Unknown comics. I call it Dysfunctional Family Reading. I figured there had to be more people like me (well, maybe not JUST like
me-heh heh) that were looking for exposure drawing whatever the hell they wanted despite whether people found it offensive or not. |
