ctually, I'm a cheat .. I'm not an artist at all, but a wanna-be gag writer. That's why I keep enjoying your hard work and try to keep in touch
with your group. I can see finding the right match is going to be really hard (I'm a perfectionist) ... and when I DO do this, my jokes and the art are going to have to be top-rate. I own a data
processing business, and I heard a graphic designer (around 18 years old) talking to his agent one day when I was at a client's ... he was talking about his comic book. I begged him to draw me a comic logo, as
even ten years ago, I loved comics ... that was his first of two cartoons, and the rough draft was even better. And, oh did I get it from my clients about that, uh, "chest" ... I said, proudly,
"Well, it is was a REAL comic artist that drew that ... their women are all busty, gorgeous, and amazon-like" ... I also tell people who have never met me (my national clients) that YES, OF COURSE I really
look like that!!!! Thanks for all your hard work ... right now my business is doing well (never great, which is why we all struggle), which means I work seven days and nights a week and can't even think
about being funny. As soon as business gets bad, I'll get serious again about gag writing. Good luck ... and thanks for all your hard work ... Deborah Data (aka FurryPurrPurr). |
