have a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, my first commercial gig
was to to do a sweatshirt design for a boy's club sponsered by CORE
(Congress of Racial Equality) in 1965. I drew a charging knight in full
armor. I worked on various projects in the 35 years since but until 1996 I
made my living primarily as an engineer. I am currently working on an
elibrary that will contain just about anything that I chose to draw. I am
recreating a strip I did while in a hospital a few years ago. It is in
very bad taste and it makes fun of some dead icons like Princess Di and
John Denver, so I think it will make an entertaining read. I color my
cartoons using Photoshop and I like the power to blow up small items like
eyes to screen size, even though we are creating cartoons it does not mean
that they should not contain a large amount of detail. Well I digress, I
am always looking for interesting projects and I can spare time to become
involved in any new ventures. |
