Dear Russ and Brad, It's Sunday -- I've been thinking about this all week. I'll try to be succinct. Altho I see much opportunity to develop more "in-house" branding for you at Signature -- I'm not sure if you really want to do that or not -- I'd like to raise the issue now and be done with it. It may be more cost effective (in terms of sell-thru) to pay a higher licensing fee to Disney than a lower fee to me for one of my properties that is not as well known. But you may want to give it a try. I guess I was hoping that even if you had not considered it before you might now. The timing is certainly right. Disney and WB are paying you to introduce their programming materials to the students at your asssemblies -- I'm sure they are less concerned with actual product in your catalogs. Either way it appears there is ample room to introduce some new brands. I would like to ask you to consider not only JIMMY JET as a corporate mascot as Met Life has done with SNOOPY, Pls. see image 1 But some of my other properties for your audience. It's always difficult to find stuff for "Dad" -- perhaps the addition of more masculine items would be a win-win? "ROUTE {66} SIXTY-SIX" is also in syndication now Pls. see images 3, 4 and meets an already established nation-wide interest in all things relating to the "Mother Road." Wider application of a logo/brand such as "The Joyful Heart" which I introduced you to yesterday would be very successful in a variety of media from clothing to coffee cups but I am most interested in what you think of my "VALEN-TOONS" with regard to your romantic, basket, body and other personal items. Pls. see image 5 I have so much to offer with proven marketability -- to be honest I am overwhelmed with myself. I don't want to die like DaVinci with my most valuable ideas still in my sketchbooks. Would you consider a "lower-than-market rate" royalty arrangement by where we could both afford to go forward with development of these various brands under your stewardship? I have been approached by various but narrow interests. I have never met a company such as yours with the where-with-all to capiatalize on so many aspects at once under one roof and certainly not with one man. Best!
