Dear Russ & Brad,(STRIKE THAT!)
Dear "B-r-a-d,"

I'm sorry my battery was cutting out -- By the time I
found another phone to call back I had missed you at
home , in the office and on your cell -- (mailbox full
BTW).

As I mentioned on the phone, our very fist discussions
changed my impression of what you wanted to accomplish
with your website from a conventional presentation
into an award-winning subscriber-worthy destination.

The more I have dug into just what that entails is
revealed in my notes.

I did not intend to take you on a never-ending
joyride,
but conscienciously perform the due diligence
something of this scope requires,

"For which of you, desiring to build a tower, doesn't
first sit down and count the cost, to see if he has
enough to complete it?"

And yet this "tower" can seem like a castle in the
air.

Other than my 30-day probation -- are there any other
pressures to consider?
I mean -- is there an additional party, other than
yourselves that the project is due to be unveiled to?

Or do we just want to see what we can slap together as
fast as we can?

I need to know these answers in order to give you a
concrete timeline of what can be accomplished and
when.

The content is agreed upon but I need to package it
within the framework I have been trying to nail down
between us.

(We have just finished speaking and you have already
addressed that concern -- thank you!)

Taking some very valuable advice (Russ 101)I am
setting aside the issues of logos, titles, and
character/mascot designs for the present.
This is the equivelent of Disneyland minus Mickey
Mouse.
Perhaps we can better address those issues later.

I don't need any more time to research what I need to
do or now that we have spoken -- HOW I need to do it.

- I will begin immediately to translate al the general
links of public content into discrete links that we
can further winnow or append. We're talking 100+ links
I think, give me a day or 2 to properly document an
organize them into useful hyperlink code.
- next I will illustrate the background graphic of the
actual site. Again I need a day or 2 to go from
initial sketches to final airbrushed artwork.
- Then I will do the same with the actual buildings
that will serve as the centers for our various
activities.

This schedule will consume the remainder of the month
of September (about another week.)

Linking these first basic elements together will give
you a rudimentary but functioning site (around the 1st
of October) that I would like to quickly improve.

The additional layers of interactive graphics and
sound effects can easily take a couple weeks to
devise, apply and perfect. But by the middle of
October, approx. 3 weeks from now you should see the
FLASH version of the site beginning to work.

I think that runs out the clock on my 30-day period.
I hope you will retain me to carry on with successive
phases that will include ALL of the wish lists you
come up with.

Pls. share any portion of this you feel applicable w/
Russ -- I know he is very busy and may not wish my
blow-by-blow accounts from this point on.

Just wanted you to know I was not sleeping on the job.

Best!
