The Stories are fantasy adventure based on real humans that they can aspire to (in their own lifetime) -- combined with strong conflicts of what is right and wrong and concrete examples of how they can learn to choose between them.
The Point of Difference is that he doesn't want to change the world -- he wants to save it.

Commander Page Turner is --
* A preeminent astrophysicist hand picked by several Presidential
Administrations to guide the Space Race.
* He alone holds the keys to the secrets of the atomic isotope "TRINITITE"
and the Dark Matter phenomenon of "ASTROSPACE."
* He was the first man on the moon. (Covert Operation: PROJECT UN-GUN)

A child prodigy -- he studied under the likes of Albert Einstein, Joseph Tesla and
Dr. Albert Schweitzer. President Harry Truman first called upon him to forge the
"Atoms For Peace" initiative before the United Nations. President John Kennedy later appointed him as a "technical advisor"to oversee the work of captured German engineer, Werner von Braun during the Mercury, Gemini and Apollo programs.

It was after successfully completing his covert mission, PROJECT UN-GUN*,
(now declassified -- the installation of space based lasers in the Jules Verne Crater of the Moon) that he was lost and was presumed dead as his spacecraft suffered a catastrophic failure upon reentry.

It was these same lasers that provided the unpublicized "trump card"
allowing President Kennedy to force the Russians to pull back their ballistic missiles at the now infamous Cuban installation.

Today, Commander Page Turner has miraculously reappeared in our present Earth time frame.

Looking remarkably young for all his vast experiences, he has chosen to dedicate the rest of his life to sharing his lessons of peace with the children of the world.

* The now-declassified space based laser system PROJECT UN-GUN used as it's catalyst for coherent light beams a freak man-made element resulting from early atomic testing at the Trinity/Alamagordo bomb sites.
TRINITITE.
It is indestructible.
Because of it's inherent properties, it holds the key to many of the secrets of the Universe.

One of these is a phenomenon known as "ASTROSPACE."
According to the Commander's personal journals on astrophysics, the combined mass of observable matter in the Universe only accounts for 10% of it's projected mass. All the remaining undetected elements are categorized as Dark Matter or ASTROSPACE.

Commander Page Turner's groundbreaking studies of TRINITITE have led to the unlocking of the first property of ASTROSPACE. By manipulating the Dark Matter, he is able to bridge the 90% gap between what is seen and unseen thereby reducing the time necessary for interplanetary space flight by 90% as well.
